Amparito Arozamena (1916-2018) was a Mexican actress who appeared in over 110 films and television shows throughout her career. Born in Mexico City, Arozamena began her career in the 1940s and quickly became a popular supporting actress, often playing strong and witty characters. She starred in notable films such as "El Mago" (1949), "The Young and the Damned" (1950), and "The Exterminating Angel" (1962), among others. Arozamena was also a prolific voice actress, lending her voice to numerous animated films and television shows. She was recognized for her work in film and television with multiple awards, including the Ariel Award for Best Supporting Actress in 1959 and 1965. Arozamena passed away in Mexico City at the age of 101.
